Jane Black ARPS FPSA HonPAGB has received from recognition from the Photographic Society of America (PSA) for her work over many, many years for photography. In this year's honours list from PSA she is included with what is one of their highest accolades for service to photography, by making her a Fellow of the PSA (FPSA).
 | Jane was the first lady President of NCPF back in 1976 after working on their Executive for a number of years. Since then she has been a stalwart of the executive to this day. For two decades or more she served on the PAGB Executive eventually being made its President during the period that we at NCPF celebrated our Centenary. |
She has also served for another 20 years or so as the Regional Organiser for the Northern Region of the RPS. However nothing can out do her commitment to the Northern Counties International Salon of Photography; the founding Chairman, she is still serving in that post as we come to the end of the 32nd such salon.
