Steve Gosling has just sent out his 1st Newsletter of 2014 listing lots of interesting photo workshops ranging from 1 day workshops (some in conjunction with Olympus and others with the RHS) to 11 days in Iceland and also 7 days on the Isle of Skye with Joe Cornish. Joe Cornish Lecture

Don't forget Joe Cornish HonFRPS will be visiting our club on Thursday 1st March and the meeting will be in the upstairs room of Stokesley Town Hall.

Entry is free for SPS club members but visitors will be charged £5.  Entry by ticket only.

A new Joe Cornish lecture

At the end of last season Northallerton Camera Club announced and distributed information regarding a lecture to be given by Joe Cornish, supported by Steve Byard, at the Northallerton Forum.  With the start of the new season I am expecting tickets to sell fairly rapidly so felt it might be useful to send out a reminder of the event. This is a new lecture by Joe with Steve Byard providing support around the technical aspects of capture and production, so it will be an interesting and enjoyable evening.  

Tickets are priced at £6 which also includes light refreshments and can be obtained by sending a cheque, made payable to Northallerton Camera Club, to:

Photography Competition at Joe Cornish Galleries - closes 2nd July

Joe Cornish Galleries is holding its first Photography and Video Open competition this summer. All interested photographers and video artists over the age of 16 can submit their work to the competition which will be on display in the gallery in July and throughout August.  Click here for more information.
