Red Arrows

In view of the sad news tonight of the crash of one of the Red Arrow planes in Dorset I am posting up a few images of their display this Monday at Whitby Regatta. It was absolutely excellent. Stunning flying skills.

Whitby Abbey at Twilight

I have just noticed in my English Heritage magazine that on Fri 13th and Sat 14th May, Whitby Abbey will be open from 6.30pm to 9.30pm. Weather permitting it could be an ideal opportunity to get pics of the building with a sunset in the background (it is not normally open in the evenings.) Also, I believe it will be illuminated. Admission is free to members of EH but otherwise £6 or less (depending on status.)
