Exploding the Myths of Landscape Photography
Stockton Camera Club are hosting a talk by Steve Gosling called Exploding the Myths of Landscape Photography on 15th January 2014 at Wilson Centre, Darlington Road, Long Newton, Stockton-On-Tees. TS21 1DD. The evening promises to be very thought provoking and informative and visitors are welcome. The cost is £3.00, with light refreshments included, payable at the door.

USA Landscape Photographer of the Year.
Charlie Waite has launched a new international photography competition called USA Landscape Photographer of the Year.
It is designed to give the opportunity for photographers from all over the world to have their talent recognised and rewarded with their images of the rural or urban landscape of the USA.
This is your chance to have your images seen by some of the most respected names in landscape photography today, to win some amazing cash and in kind prizes and be exhibited as part of the Winners' Exhibition that will tour the USA and Europe, not to mention the chance to be named USA Landscape Photographer of the Year 2014!
If you have visited the USA within the last 5 years, or plan to before the 16th February 2014 (when entries close), do consider entering a portfolio of 3 images for a chance to win the overall title award, or a single fabulous image to win one of the category awards - Classic view, Black & White, Landscape on the move (compact camera), Urban and My USA (anything goes!)
Just look at some of the judges we have lined up - Art Wolfe, David Muench, Christopher Burkett, Jim Patterson, Tim Fitzharris, Marc Muench, Marc Adamus, Antony Spencer, Justin Reznick and Charlie Waite!
