The frogs arrived late in our pond this year, 19 days later than last year, but they have spawned immediately and the quantity is about the same even though there are fewer frogs. Last year the count was at least 33 but this year the most we have counted is 21. There may be more as they are not the easiest creatures to count when they can easily hide.
I've taken scores of photos and have not yet looked at many but here are a few of them.
Some frogs have arrived in our pond, but there's no sign of any frogspawn yet. Maybe they are still thinking about it!
