NCF Website Update

The following updates have been made to the NCPF web site since the last update message and all can be accessed here.

1. Home Page
A Notice regarding next season’s NCPF portfolios for all club Programme/Syllabus Secretaries.

2. Diary
Entries updated, including with a major 100th anniversary Exhibition by South Shields PS (poster attached for Club Secretaries).

3. News Items
An illustrated report on the recent South Tyne Area Print Competition.

Peter Leeming Exhibition

Peter Leeming will be one of our guest speakers next season.  If you would like a taster of his work he has a new exhibition at the Moors National Park Centre, Danby, from today until 24th March.

Deadline Tomorrow - NCPF Annuals

Don't forget to bring your entries for the NCPF Annual Competitions to the club tomorrow evening.  3 colour prints, 3 mono prints and/or 3 PDIs.

3 Way Battle with Northallerton and Gallery

Please note that this will take place on Monday 4th March at Northallerton CC and not on 11th March as stated in the programme booklet.

The following updates have been made to the NCPF web site since the last update message and all can be accessed here.

1.         News Items
Two new News Items; The first is a report from the recent 2013 NCPF Annual Club Championship at Washington and the second news of the Northern Area’s Inter-club Competitions.

2.         PAGB ‘e-news’
Editions 84 an 85 have been published; the former a tribute to Lady Doreen Pollock FRPS MPAGB,
and the second has the results of the PAGB Great British Cup.

3.         Diary
A general update, including new events (one poster attached for club secretaries) and also a change of date for one of the Northern Areas Interclub Competitions from March to April.

We had a great day photographing the various birds of prey at Sion Hill Hall Falconry Centre.  Many thanks to Colin for organising the day.  Having got rid of all the dross I'm slowly working through my best shots from the day.

Thanks to Colin for organising an excellent day out at Sion Hall. The weather was kind and there were lots of opportunities for photos. Must practice more on the flight shots though! Here are a few of my better efforts.

Practical Evening Update

I now have suggestions for the next Practical Group meeting on Monday 11th February so it will go ahead. Topics which we hope to cover are on the subject of HDR and also monitor and printer calibration.

Next Practical Evening

At present there have been no suggestions for topics at the next Practical Evening on Monday 11th February. If I haven't received any by Thursday 31st January I will be cancelling that session. E-mail and suggestions to me at paulaATpixelfoto.co.uk.
