NCPF International Exhibition

33rd Northern Counties International Salon of Photography

Closing Date:- Friday 16th August 2012 Less than 4 weeks away

The NCPF would like to extend this invitation to all members to enter your own salon. It is YOUR chance to showcase YOUR work to the whole photographic world, but also to support the efforts of your colleagues, who put so much effort into making this event respected worldwide.

Don’t miss out; don’t forget to submit your entry. THERE IS STILL TIME!

ALL sections in this event are carried out under the patronage of FIAP, PSA and the RPS. Medals and Awards have been granted by all three patrons as well as our own NCPF awards. We expect that at least 1 in 4 entries will be accepted. A full colour catalogue will be sent to all entrants.

This year’s event has FIVE Sections:-
Monochrome Prints (PPD)
Colour Prints (PPD)
General PDI (CPID)
Nature PDI (ND)
Photo-Travel PDI (PTD)

The calendar is as follows:-

Full details of all the rules and conditions of entry (including fees), together with Entry Forms can be found in the “International Exhibition” pages of our web site.

HOWEVER for Northern Counties Entrants the following special facilities are available:-
Whilst normally PRINTS should be unmounted, NCPF Entrants can also enter MOUNTED Prints provided that you make arrangements to deliver them to Jane Black. (You can of course deliver unmounted prints directly to Jane)
Normally Prints will not be returned unless return postage is paid in addition to the Entry Fee. However, provided NCPF entrants make their own arrangements to collect them from Jane Black (whether Mounted or Unmounted), then that return postage charge can be avoided..
Combined Club entries delivered to and collected from Jane are also welcome.
The Entry Forms for Prints and Digital Projected Images are SEPARATE and must be completed ON-LINE please.
ON-LINE entry and PayPal are available for the ALL Sections, Prints and Projected Images
Please remember that you DO NOT need to have a PayPal account to pay by PayPal. All you need is a credit card. If a club wishes to make a single joint entry fee payment then individual entrants should ignore the automatic link to PayPal on each entry Form and one member should make the payment (again all you need is a Credit Card) by going to https://www.paypal-marketing.co.uk/sendmoney/index.htm and paying the amount to NCPF at ncpfsalon@btinternet.com
We look forward to receiving your entry to this prestigious event.

PAGB E-News 70

Please click on this link to see Issue 70 of e-news from the PAGB which is an obituary special for John Wells - a very busy and popular lecturer whose company a great many amateur photographers have enjoyed.

It is unusual to run such a special but Rod Wheelans received so many comments from John's friends that he thought it appropriate in this case.

We had booked John to lecture at SPS during the 2012-2013 season and I am very saddened that his life was cut short and members did not have the chance to experience the magic of seeing John in action.
